Vice President of Human Resources
Sonya Lane started the human resources department at TeleNet in 2000 after spending 11 years in human resources management, recruiting and candidate placement. As TeleNet’s vice president of human resources, she is responsible for scouting, recruiting and hiring qualified individuals for all positions at TeleNet. Working closely with the TeleNet’s operations team, Sonya helps to ensure that all marketing communication specialists have the necessary skills and training to execute marketing programs that yield reliable results for TeleNet’s clients.
Additionally, Sonya is responsible for management of TeleNet’s employee benefit programs, as well as the creation and implementation of TeleNet’s employee policies. TeleNet’s Payroll and compensation administration also fall under her department.
Sonya’s HR experience spans 20 years and includes working as the Regional Staffing Manager at Etcon Staffing Services for 8 years, as well as working for the Georgia Department of Labor early in her career. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration, with an emphasis in human resources, from Clayton State University.
