International Telemarketing Efforts

Telemarketing to prospects and existing clients in order to deliver new product announcements on a regular basis is a typically American marketing strategy. The United States is known worldwide for all things “marketing”…and although all countries now-a-days employ sophisticated marketing methods- few economies roll out blanket telemarketing like the U.S.A.
Through our international telemarketing efforts focused on emerging markets, we have found that SMB and Mid-Market accounts have a “thirst” for information and communication. Our lead rates tend to be higher, as there are more un-communicated projects. In fact, accounts are regularly reporting that they are really glad we called because they want to know what new solution developments are being introduced. Additionally, our opt-in rates tend to be higher, as they also like to be included on email, direct mail and calling lists so they do not have to proactively research what’s out there.

The team at TeleNet executing international calling, is surprised daily at the warm reception they get on the phone and even flattered that someone is interested in communicating with them- and want to help their business.
On one call I recently listened to during a calibration, a contact actually called his team mates to join him while we asked questions and discussed new evolving technology solutions to him. He was so excited someone called- he wanted everyone to listen in real time to gauge if the solution would be right for them. Now that’s effective telemarketing!!
